MATERNITY ROOMS
Pelgulinna Maternity Hospital has eight maternity rooms, seven of which have a bath for water births and for relieving labour pain. We have all the most up-to-date means for relieving labour pain.
In the maternity room, we will do everything we can so that you feel as much at home as possible.
You can bring your own music with you in order to concentrate on the world’s most important event in just the way you wish.
In the case of a natural childbirth, you can choose the position that feels the most comfortable for you and your baby.
The person closest to you is very welcome to be present during the childbirth so that you can share this beautiful moment!

POSTNATAL ROOMS
After childbirth, the baby is given immediate postnatal care and the mother is given advice in the postnatal room. Every day you will be visited by the midwife, a paediatrician and a care attendant. If necessary, you will be offered consultations with the gynaecologist, a breastfeeding counsellor, a psychologist and a social worker.
Standard postnatal rooms have one to three beds and are free of charge.
It is possible to book a room for the mother and child, or a family room. These come in different price ranges.
All of the rooms have Wi-Fi.
There are three meal times a day, and the caterer is AS Eesti Eine. In the family room, the meals are served for two, and in the mother and child room the meals are for one.
